Style Savvy: Trendsetters Setting
The Style Savvy: Trendsetters 3DS ROM lets you take on the role of a fashion mogul on the rise. As you work your way to the top, you also manage your boutique and help your customers find the right outfit. In order to do this, you must keep up with the latest fashion trends, keep your boutique fully stocked, and customize it to fit your personality.
There’s an incredible variety of things you can do in your little town where the action takes place. You can spend your time working at the boutique, tending to customers, and coordinating outfits. Additionally, you can visit the Buyer’s Centre to stock up on clothes, maybe enter a runway contest, dress up the mannequins or arrange the window display.
Interestingly, seasons in the 3DS ROM follow real-time seasons which are based on a set 3DS clock. Consequently, there are four seasons – spring, summer, fall, and winter. What’s more, clothing available for purchase and the customers’ style changes with the seasons. Even the character events and event locations follow the changing seasons.

- Emmylou / Yukimi, who used to work in Mira Luna, and now shops there very frequently
- Harris, aka Soichi, owns the local furniture shop

How to Play
You can play this 3DS ROM on PC or Nintendo 3DS. Both versions work just fine, so just pick whichever option you like better.
The player starts off the game by walking into a local boutique and talking to the manager. Impressed by their skills, the manager offers them a job. Consequently, the player starts chatting with the customers and picking out their outfits, which they accept or reject based on preference.
To make things easier, the clothes are sorted into stylistic categories known as Tastes. Those include the basics like simple, feminine, bold, and girly, but also feature things leaning more towards exotic like princess, gothic, and boho-chic. Basically, the player’s job is to select clothes based on the customers’ Taste, while fitting their budgets and the current season.
Making people happy fills up the moon, which, once full, shines its light on the store and unlocks new clothes to sell, and new places in town. Fulfilling the customers’ style dreams left and right, expands the town around the player’s boutique. Then, makeup artists, photographers, and hairstylists start moving in to accommodate the town’s growing population. Eventually, even a furniture store pops up, allowing the player to give their apartment and fashion boutique a makeover.
